The Haven Fellowship Mission team will be returning to Port Saint Joe to continue disaster relief and recovery efforts. As you remember, #hurricanemichael hit the panhandle with severe force devastating many areas of the panhandle, including Port Saint Joe. Haven’s Mission team is proud to have an opportunity to help rebuild a church, lives, and a local community. The team will be working with a local church, Family Life Center, to help them rebuild their church. Your help is welcomed to hang Sheetrock, paint, and other general construction work. The team will also be working with this church to help community members with cleanup and demolition.
While the hurricane hit several weeks ago, the cleanup and rebuilding will be a long-term project lacking a quickfix. The team invites both our members and our community to support this trip. You can sign up to join the team and share your talents and time, or make donations for the trip in sharing your treasures. Sheetrock, contractor bags, and related tools are needed the most for the church. Chainsaws, pressure washers, contractor bags, hammers, and related are most needed for the community. You can make donations payable to Haven Fellowship Church, noted “Hurricane Michael” or contact Michael to pickup supplies to take.
To sign up (and all ages welcome) sign up by December 26th by contacting Michael at firstname.lastname@example.org or the office at email@example.com. Donations are requested by December 30th. Donations are fully tax deductible.
Prayerfully consider how God wants to use YOU to help the panhandle.
